Meet the Microbiologist

Zimmer’s first foray into podcasts took place way back between 2009 and 2011, when he interviewed scientists studying viruses, bacteria, and other microbes. You can still find the episodes floating around the Internet. Here is an interview with Michael Worobey about the origin of HIV, part of which later was rebroadcast on Radiolab.
